Crossfire has quickly become a sire favourite here at the farm. He has an impressive set of EPD’s and had an outstanding phenotype. His dam has been a very consistent producers at Six Mile, and he’s proving to put the same maternal traits into his daughters. We showed 3 of his daughters this past fall.

RIVERSIDE ACTIVE DUTY 762E

We bought this guys mom and sister a few years back and we can’t say enough about Active Duty and what he's done here at the farm. He is a very complete herd sire that is easy fleshing stands on an excellent food and covers ground with ease. Active Duty puts the same shape and style into all his calves adding rib and extra muscle in the rear quarter. They say a bull will leave daughters like is mother and he has done just that for us here at Riverside. His mother Dream Maker Blackbird 753Z is still producing top calves for us every year.

SOUTH SHADOW UPWARD 49D

Upward is another bull we have bought from South Shadow Angus. He is a big, deep bodied bull who gets lots of power from his dam side. Milk +26 and Y.W. +118. Upward continues to prove himself every year. He is a bull you want to keep females out of adding excellent foot, and leg structure without losing any style and performance. His sire Sitz Upward in the all time leading path finder sire in the American Angus Association being well known for producing the ideal Angus female.

Our new walking herd sire from South Shadow Angus. We chose this big soggy bull to add pounds to our calves with an ADG of 4.05 pounds. Consensus yearling E.P.D. is +100 and Milk +26. Both his Dam and Grand Dam are elite cows in the South Shadow Herd.

Foresight is a very smooth made bull. His Dam is 11 years old who is a deep bodied feminine cow with a great udder. Foresight is a powder maternal carcass sire who has muscle and volume throughout. Foresight Y.W. +84 and Milk is +23.

RIVERSIDE IN FOCUS 39Y

In Focus is our first home raised herd sire, who we lost a couple winters ago. He has a low B.W. and high W.W. and adds performance to the herd. The heifers we have calved from this sire are great mothers with beautiful udders and great temperaments.

Thunder is a bull we purchased from Northern View Angus in 2011. Thunder was chosen because of his calving ease and great style. We continue to love Thunder’s offspring, his daughters are stylish, hard working moms. And his bull calves always spoke for themselves in our bull pen.

I can’t say enough about what Net Worth did for our herd of cows. He has added performance, tremendous thickness to our herd along with great udders, feet, and legs. We lost Net Worth to a shoulder injury at the age of 7 and I am confident in saying there are not many bulls at the age of 7 that could get out and move with the ease this guy did.

LORENZ DATELINE 16P

We were lucky enough to find Dateline at Lorenz Angus after our previous bull had an accident. Dateline was the foundation to our herd we have several daughters still in the herd today. He provided daughters with beautiful udders as well as excellent feet and legs.
